קצת על בית העמודים...
"בית העמודים" - הבית של הג'אז הישראלי. התחיל כבית קפה - בר שכונתי, שהפך במרוצת השנים למועדון ג'אז בינלאומי בו העיקר הוא המוסיקה. מתקיימות בו הופעות חיות מידי יום, כ-12 הופעות מדי שבוע.
ממוקם באחת השכונות היפות בלב תל אביב, מדרחוב נחלת בנימין, בבניין מהימים ההם, כשהמרצפות היו יותר יפות מהשטיח. סיפורו של המועדון מתחיל בשנת 2011. הקפה עמד שומם מאדם ונאבק על קיומו. שוחרת ג'אז בשם יעל הדני, המגיעה מתחום המסעדנות, הציעה לבעל המקום, ערן קול, (מוסיקאי בעצמו) לתת צ'אנס ולהשקיע בהופעת ג'אז אחת לשבוע. בשל הענות הקהל נוספו עוד ועוד הופעות.
במהלך השנים, כמה מגדולי הג'אזיסטים הישראלים-בינלאומיים כיבדו את המקום הקטן בנוכחותם, ולא פעם אחת, ובהם אבישי כהן, יונתן אבישי, עומר אביטל, אלי דג'יברי, יובל כהן, ברק מורי, עופר גנור, עמית פרידמן, ועוד רבים.
לאורך הדרך זכה בית העמודים להכרה כמוסד תרבות מרכזי מכמה וכמה גורמים מוסמכים. ישראל ממשיכה למצב את עצמה כמעצמת ג'אז עם כבוד מפתיע, כשבית העמודים נבחר לרשימת 11 מועדוני הג'אז הטובים בעולם על ידי מגזין BUSSINESS INSIDER. כמו כן מקבל בית העמודים הצבעת אמון ותו לאיכות בקנה מידה בינלאומי ממגזין הג'אז הנחשב בעולם- DOWNBEAT MAGAZINE, כבר מספר שנים ברציפות.
עד היום התקיימו בבית העמודים למעלה מ3000 הופעות ג'אז חיות ועם מיטב האמנים מהארץ ומהעולם. נמשיך ונספק בית לג'אז הישראלי ולאוהבי הג'אז בישראל ובעולם, מידי יום, במחיר שווה לכל נפש, כי הבית תמיד פתוח לבוא בלי להגיע וללכת מבלי לעזוב.
בית העמודים מודה מקרב לב לקהל, למוסיקאים, ולצוות העובדים הבונים את הבית הזה ומעניקים לו משנה תוקף מדי יום ביומו.
